What to Expect During Your First Visit

If you are a new patient, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to your first appointment to fill out paperwork. You can also fill out the required information and paperwork online on our website. Once you have completed the paperwork, you will be given a tour of our facility and escorted to the treatment rooms by one of our staff members.
In the treatment room, one of our dental assistants will conduct an intake interview and go over the paperwork. Once this is done, a full mouth series of radiographs and/or radiographs of individual teeth will be taken. In addition, we also take intra oral and extra oral photographs. We use these images to build your patient records with us.
Next, the hygienist will check your gums and the supporting structures around the teeth. Once all the pertinent information is completed, Dr. Praveen Kumar Mandera will complete a thorough examination of extra oral and intra oral structures. After the examination is completed, the dentist will discuss the findings and will arrive at a diagnosis and possible treatment options.  The goal of the first appointment is to educate you on the current condition of your oral health and also to inform you about the possibilities of dental outcomes.

Financial Options

We understand that dental treatments can be expensive and some may not be covered by dental insurance. We make all possible efforts to work with insurance companies to pay for your required dental treatment. We offer the following methods of payment: Cash, Check, Credit Cards (Amex, Visa, Mastercard and Discover) and Care Credit.

What is Care Credit?

Care Credit is a healthcare credit card that allows an easy way to pay for out-of-pocket health needs that may not be covered by your insurance policy. Care Credit offers special financing options that allows you to avoid paying interest if you make minimum monthly payments. Ask our front desk Insurance Coordinator for payment options that our practice offers with Care Credit.

Insurance Options

We are currently in network with Delta Dental PPO Network. We also accept all other PPO plans. In addition, we accept the majority of other dental insurances. We will work with your insurance company directly for payment of services.

We are happy to verify patient’s insurance benefits. Our team can also help figure out the best way for you to maximize patient’s insurance coverage.
